Covetous Cove is a Shoot ‘em up created during a week jam. The game genre was imposed by the pedagogical team, as a theme for every group.

We decided to do a pirate SCHMUP, where you are in a battle to reach the end of the creek. By collecting objects in the sea, you can slown down or even disable the ennemy.
But be carfeul out there during your battle, because there are also monsters to dodge !

Working as a game UX for a week project is a challenge itself. To help my team, I worked mainly on three sides : I did a analysis of the game genre and its codes, then I thought about the onboarding, and finally helped for the interface. Besides, I directed playtests to enhance gameplay understanding and gamefeel.
